About The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced safety leader to oversee health and safety initiatives across multiple operational sites. This individual will partner with executive leadership and field teams to strengthen safety performance, improve compliance, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic leadership for company-wide safety programs.
- Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
- Partner with operations leaders to improve workplace safety and operational performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of safety professionals.
- Analyze safety trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and industry regulations.
- Develop and facilitate safety training and leadership development programs.
- Evaluate and implement technology that improves reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions, and preventive initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with operational leadership through regular field engagement.
- Provide guidance on contractor safety and risk management practices.
- Travel periodically to support multiple operating locations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
- Extensive leadership experience within industrial, manufacturing, energy, or heavy operations environments.
- Demonstrated success building and improving safety programs across multiple locations.
- Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Professional safety certification is preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable leveraging technology and data to improve decision-making and operational performance.

Compensation
$170,000 – $180,000 + Potential Bonus
