Director of Revenue Cycle

About the role

Provide strategic, nationwide oversight of the end-to-end revenue cycle infrastructure across all Ascension markets. Lead revenue cycle policies and procedures, utilizing a strong ambulatory background to ensure immediate operational impact. Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, building cross-departmental relationships and exercising good judgment on non-viable initiatives. Oversee departmental budgets and revenue valuation, applying analytical tools to drive operational improvements and robust forecasting.

Minimum requirements

• Preferred Credential(s): Accountant
• Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed
• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management

Additional preferences

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration and/or Business
• At least 3 years experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
• At least 3–5 years leadership/management experience
