Job Type Full-time Description Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (with some flexibility required) Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) is a private, non-profit organization supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking a Director of Residential Services, who will work directly with the residential programs and senior management team as a professional liaison between the agency, individuals, families/guardians, and the public/private agencies served by the non-profit. The Director of Residential Services will report to the Senior Director of Program Services. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred in related fields such as health, education, welfare, business, hospital administration or special education. At least two years experience in one of the following or related fields: education, social work, sociology, vocational, residential rehabilitiation, developmental disabilities.Supervisory and management experience required.Experience in not for profit agencies a nice to have.Managing and tracking departmental financials within set budgets.Experience in hiring and maintaining staffing requirments. Maintain work relationships among all levels of the organization, individuals served, families, and other providers or services in a professional manner.Provide safe and nurturing environment where Individuals are treated with dignity and respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).Willing and able to complete all essential responsibilities and other duties as assigned.Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation. Skills Organized with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines.Excellent organizational and people skills.Ability to work both independently and with team members.Strong oral, written and listening skills.Strong fiscal responsibility.Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.Proficient knowledge of technology and willingness to learn.
