Director of Rehab - Full Time
About the role
The Rehab Director will be responsible for leading the recruitment, hiring, and training of clinical staff; developing therapy strategies and protocols; evaluating patient care and outcomes; coordinating interdisciplinary rehabilitation services; managing daily clinic operations; ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations; and supporting business development and community outreach for a new outpatient clinic scheduled to open in April 2026.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, and train clinical staff
- Develop therapy strategies and protocols
- Evaluate patient care and outcomes
- Cook up interdisciplinary rehabilitation services
- Manage daily clinic operations
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support business development and community outreach
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy with an appropriate degree
- Active state licensure in the applicable discipline required to start
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in an outpatient setting or comparable clinical environment
- Experience developing clinical programs, policies, and quality assurance processes
- Experience recruiting, onboarding, and training clinical staff
- Familiarity with outpatient clinical operations, documentation standards, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to support clinic start-up activities for a de novo clinic opening (planning, staffing, workflows)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in physical therapy or related field
- Current active state license in physical therapy
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
