About the role
Troy Center is hiring a Director of Recreation in Troy, NY.
Responsibilities
- Engage new residents and determine their interests
- Aid in establishing monthly activity calendars
- Aid in recreational programs to meet the interests of the residents
- Aid in religious services at the Facility
- Aid in monthly festivities and parties at the facility
- Aid volunteers during their activities
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Recreation Assistant or Director in a healthcare setting!
- Must be very organized and have the ability to lead others
- Strong computer skills necessary
- A positive, outgoing, upbeat personality is a must
- Self-directed; have strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
