About the role

The role involves developing cutting-edge software solutions for geospatial applications. Candidates should have a strong background in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and experience with GIS technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components for geospatial data processing and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Contribute to the testing and debugging of software
• Document code and contribute to project documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in software development
• Experience with GIS software and tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, or similar
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL

Qualifications

• Knowledge of geospatial databases and data models
• Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
