About the role

The Director of Project Operations (Drilling) is responsible for overseeing all project management activities within the drilling operations department. This includes coordinating project timelines, managing resources, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and facilitating effective communication among team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project timelines and ensure timely completion of projects
• Manage project budgets and resources to optimize efficiency
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between project teams and stakeholders
• Develop and maintain project management processes and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with overall business objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the drilling industry
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and mentor team members
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
