About the role

The Director of Construction Operations will provide high-level leadership for the company's Construction Division, overseeing estimating, project management, and field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with the Triple Crown Corporation's quality standards and strategic objectives.

This role partners closely with executive leadership to drive operational excellence, develop future leaders, improve financial performance, and position the construction division for continued growth and success.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within Residential and/or Commercial Construction operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred
  • Proven experience leading estimating, project management, and field operations in a multi-project environment
  • Strong financial understanding with experience managing budgets, forecasting, job costing, and operational performance
  • Extensive knowledge of residential and/or commercial construction practices, scheduling, estimating, contracts, project financial management, and construction methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate constructability, identify operational risks, and implement practical, cost-effective solutions
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills with a proven ability to build high-performing teams
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term business objectives
  • Proficiency with Construction Management Software, Estimating/Take Off Software, and Microsoft Office products

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
