Director of Processing

The Director of Processing reports directly to the Vice President of Operations is primarily responsible for overseeing medical cannabis processing, extraction and Derivative Products manufacturing. Responsible for productivity and efficiency within processing facilities, employee management and quality assurance of all medical cannabis and Derivative Products. The Director of Processing will maintain the schedule of operations and provide overall extraction, manufacturing and best practices direction to processing facilities. The Director of Processing is responsible for direct supervision of all Processing Managers and Laborers, providing guidance, advice, and leadership to all processing employees. Responsible for deployment and oversight of operations within the processing facilityResponsible for oversight of the entire processing facility. Direct supervision of all departments within the processing facilityOversight of strategic development and operationsResponsible for maintaining the quality of productAssures all processing procedures are executed in compliance with law, regulation, administrative rules, policy and proceduresResponsible for production and scheduling of all processing activities, including planning production through all stages of processing from crude to distillateMaintains the efficiency of all necessary steps and procedures of the facility and addresses any operations issuesResponsible for employee and manager relations, production, and management – disciplines and acknowledges employees appropriatelyResponsible for adhering to processing protocols, including labeling with in compliance and meeting production needs each monthMaintains production counts and tracking information for inventory, including digital inventory management and written logsSkillfully plans tasks while maintaining timeliness;Responsible for training all new employees and managers in proper and preferred processing techniques, policy and standard operating proceduresMonitors inventory and stocks with appropriate suppliesSecurity Clearance: Restricted Access AreasAll other job duties, as assigned Note: The statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to the job.
