Director of Power Business Management

Responsibilities

  • Manage performance, financials, and contracts for power assets.
  • Lead operational and O&M improvements to maximize profitability.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial agreements (PPA, Tolling, etc.).
  • Drive revenue through market strategies (ERCOT, PJM, Mexico).
  • Oversee safety, risk management, and compliance.
  • Support asset sales, refinancing, and portfolio restructuring.
  • Monitor KPIs, forecasts, and budgets; report to executives.
  • Lead and develop team performance.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years in power generation (IPP, utility, or similar).
  • Expertise in U.S. power markets and commercial contracts.
  • Strong financial modeling and revenue management skills.
  • Bachelor’s in engineering, economics, business, or related field.
  • Professional English communication.
  • PREFERRED: MBA, M&A/asset exit experience, multinational exposure.
