The Director of Partner Engineering will define the strategy, structure, and execution model for partner engineering initiatives across global technology ecosystems. You will lead a team responsible for enabling integrations, accelerating adoption, and creating meaningful technical value for strategic partners. This position sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market teams, translating business opportunities into scalable technical solutions. You will help expand the reach of advanced AI technologies by building deep relationships with cloud providers, platforms, and enterprise partners Accountabilities The Director of Partner Engineering will own the development and execution of a global partner engineering strategy, building scalable programs that strengthen technical integrations and accelerate ecosystem growth. This role requires a combination of technical leadership, team development, external partnership management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful adoption of innovative AI solutions. Build and lead the Partner Engineering function, defining team strategy, operating models, priorities, and success metrics.Develop and execute partnership strategies across key ecosystems, including cloud providers, AI platforms, independent software vendors, and enterprise technology partners.Lead technical pre-sales and post-sales activities, supporting partner onboarding, solution architecture, integration planning, and deployment success.Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to align technical roadmaps with customer and partner opportunities.Create enablement programs that help partner engineering teams integrate, deploy, and scale technology solutions within their environments.Drive co-innovation initiatives, including proof-of-concept projects and technical demonstrations that showcase product capabilities.Represent the organization externally through conferences, technical content, industry discussions, and thought leadership activities.Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies to identify strategic integration opportunities.Partner with leadership teams to influence go-to-market strategies, joint business plans, and ecosystem expansion initiatives.Act as a technical advocate for partners and customers by gathering feedback and translating insights into product improvements.Mentor and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Requirements The ideal candidate is a technical leader with extensive experience in partner engineering, solutions architecture, or technical go-to-market roles. They should have a proven ability to build teams, influence senior stakeholders, and operate effectively in fast-moving technology environments. 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Partner Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or related technical leadership roles.3+ years of experience managing and developing engineering, solutions, or partner-facing teams.Proven experience building and scaling partner engineering or solutions functions within startups or high-growth technology companies.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Experience designing and implementing API-based integrations and modern application architectures.Knowledge of developer ecosystems, including REST APIs, HTTP, JavaScript, Web SDKs, and contemporary software frameworks.Ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders while aligning business objectives with technical outcomes.Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to engage both engineers and business leaders.Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments while balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution.Strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging multimodal technologies.Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
