About the role
The Director of Operations, RNC is a key member of the Residential New Construction leadership team, accountable for consistent, safe, and profitable execution across all branch locations and field delivery teams nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Set the operating cadence and standardize how work is planned and performed.
- Deliver measurable improvements in throughput, labor utilization, safety, quality, and customer experience.
- Lead geographically dispersed teams and managers; improve productivity, utilization, quality, and on-time delivery through standard work and KPIs.
- Show hands-on strength in construction scheduling, labor planning, logistics/materials readiness, and subcontractor management (selection, onboarding, performance management).
- Show strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, and margin improvement; translate financial targets into operational actions.
- Prove change leadership with experience scaling operations, implementing process improvements, and driving adoption of field technology and reporting tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive operations leadership experience in construction, specialty trades, or distributed field service; including multi-site oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and managers; strong track record improving productivity, utilization, quality, and on-time delivery through standard work and KPIs.
- Show hands-on strength in construction scheduling, labor planning, logistics/materials readiness, and subcontractor management (selection, onboarding, performance management).
- Show strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost control, and margin improvement; ability to translate financial targets into operational actions.
- Prove change leadership with experience scaling operations, implementing process improvements, and driving adoption of field technology and reporting tools.

Pay
The estimated pay range for this role is $100,000-$150,000. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the successful candidate’s experience, skills, knowledge, and job location. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary and do not include bonuses or benefits.
