Direct Reports: 40-50 FTEs across 9 service lines, 36 providers, and 5 operational leaders in Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Pulmonology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, General Surgery, ENT, Gastroenterology, Plastic Surgery, and Urology.

About the Role

Provide operational oversight of all activities for assigned practices and departments. In collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, oversee clinical programs, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, certification, accreditation, and quality improvement processes. Responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned practices, working closely with operational and clinical leadership to advance the goals and mission of the ministry. Leadership includes revenue cycle management, administration, program management, business development, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Support and direct efficient, effective operations of assigned practices, including provider productivity, staffing, supply utilization, and resource allocation.
• Advance medical group performance through improved processes, efficiencies, and engagement of providers and associates.
• Lead change efforts within areas of responsibility, including M&A activity, technology, patient experience, and clinical improvement.
• Serve as a positive representative and leader within the ministry and external community.
• Direct and develop physician practice leaders to ensure high-quality, efficient, and effective care.
• Create a culture focused on clinical and operational performance, emphasizing quality, service, stewardship, and engagement.
• Participate in market or system-level projects, committees, councils, or work groups.
• Collaborate with talent acquisition to recruit, interview, retain, train, and develop clinical and administrative teams; identify candidate pipeline opportunities.
• Support coaching and development opportunities to grow talent within the practice and ministry.
• Model desirable behaviors that reinforce ministry culture as a practice and operational leader.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field (required).
• 5+ years in physician practice management with increasing scope of responsibilities and achievement.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with capital and system projects, including building and equipment.
• Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and project management.
