About the role
The Director of Medical Group Operations oversees the day-to-day operations of a medical group, ensuring efficient workflow and patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in healthcare management and strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the medical group, including scheduling, billing, and patient flow.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth integration and coordination of services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Manage the budget and financial aspects of the medical group.
- Provide guidance and support to medical staff in areas such as clinical practice and patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in a physician practice setting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare administration, particularly in physician practices.
- Understanding of healthcare finance and budgeting.
- Leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
