About the role
To provide consistent best practice program development to support the agency’s Older Youth Transitional and Independent Living Services and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff and develop strategies for consistent and effective support of clients and stakeholders.
- Supports the agency’s mission, vision, goals, and objectives.
- Supervise staff and supervisors of the Older Youth Services program.
- Provide recommendations to ensure duty to warn and adherence to best practice standards and risk management guidelines.
- Prepare and review the Annual Review Report, Performance Quality Improvements, and other audit materials and databases for DCS OYS Administration.
- Aid in the development and management of the OYS Annual Budget.
- Oversee and ensure that OYS Service Standards are achieved.
- Provide staff training in independent and transitional living services.
- Regularly attend Monthly Regional OYS Staff Meetings and OYS Provider meetings.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in social work, education, or related field and three years of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in social work, education, or related field and eight years of related experience.
- Child welfare supervisory and program supervision experience.
- Strong supervisory and administrative skills.
- Experience in the provision of transitional and independent living services.
