About the role

The Williamsport Home is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing, DON to join the energetic and spirited team to provide nursing oversight for a 122-bed skilled nursing facility in Lycoming county.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organize, and direct all aspects of nursing services and related ancillary activities in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensure that each resident receives quality care and services.
• Navigate the challenges in post-acute care with proven ability to lead a skilled nursing setting.
• Have a strong background in skilled nursing regulations.
• Be resourceful and a clear and transparent communicator.
• Able to effectively manage people.
• Passionate about work with the senior care population.

Requirements

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in skilled nursing setting.
• Nursing leadership experience: 1 to 3 years’ in a supervisory capacity.
