Director of Nursing | DON | LPN or RN

About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing | DON | RN to administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician orders and the total needs of the residents. The role requires 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, the Director of Nursing will assume responsibility for center operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician orders and the total needs of the residents.
• 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
• Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
• Affiliate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred.
• Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role required.
