Position Summary

Responsible for leading and managing the health and well-being of residents in the community. Offers a competitive starting salary, along with a first-year bonus of $10,000, transitioning to a 10% annual performance bonus after the first year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding clinical care.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports on occurrence trends and develops/implements improvement plans.
• Collaborates with the Administrator and other team members to maintain health and safety protocols.
• Provides optimal pharmaceutical services to residents and partners with the pharmacy consultant.
• Exhibits clinical expertise and assists with educational presentations as needed.
• Identifies and addresses the evolving needs of residents through the assessment and Service Plan process.
• Maintains the resident's service plan according to state regulations and collaborates with other department coordinators.
• Participates in community awareness activities and maintains open communication with residents' families and parties responsible for their care.
• Schedules clinical staff, ensures adequate supplies, and participates in a rotating on-call schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises LPNs and CNAs to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to residents. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing; Registered Nurse preferred.
• One (1) year in a nursing leadership role; Senior Living experience preferred.
• BSL Certification.
