About the role
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the Nursing Services department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors, a flexible and energetic personality, and two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Achieve quality standards of care under the direction of the Administrator
- Administer and manage Nursing Services to residents
- Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care
- Assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Prior experience in an LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
