Director of Nursing DON

We are currently searching for a Director of Nursing to join our friendly, caring and supportive team at Harmony House Care Center. Responsibilities

• Ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Harmony House Care Center by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals.
• Inspire your clinical team.
• Creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department.
• Ensure residents receive an unparalleled standard of care through knowledge, skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• A minimum associate’s degree in science, nursing or related field.
• An unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license.
• 5 years of R.N. experience.
• Previous experience managing a department.
• Prior Director of Nursing or experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.

• Ability to manage a team effectively.
