This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Marketing Strategy based in the United States. This is a senior marketing leadership role focused on shaping strategy and driving measurable growth across a diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll serve as the strategic lead for primarily B2B organizations across technology, healthcare, SaaS, and professional services, with occasional consumer-facing brands. The role combines demand generation, campaign strategy, client leadership, and hands-on oversight of marketing execution. You’ll translate business objectives into integrated marketing programs spanning content, email, paid media, and digital channels. As a trusted advisor, you’ll lead executive-level conversations, challenge ideas, and identify opportunities to expand client impact. You’ll also guide internal specialists and contractors while ensuring deliverables meet high standards for quality and strategic alignment. Accountabilities Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for a portfolio of primarily B2B clients, adapting approaches to different industries, audiences, and business models.Serve as the primary strategic contact for assigned accounts, leading recurring client meetings and providing clear direction on marketing priorities and campaigns.Translate client business objectives into demand generation strategies and integrated campaigns across content marketing, email, paid media, and digital marketing.Review content, campaigns, website initiatives, and other deliverables to ensure they align with strategic objectives, meet quality standards, and are ready for client presentation.Provide strategic guidance, feedback, and direction to internal marketing specialists and external contractors responsible for campaign execution.Partner with project coordination resources to maintain timelines, manage priorities, and ensure commitments and deliverables remain on track.Analyze campaign performance and marketing metrics to identify optimization opportunities and improve lead generation, pipeline contribution, and overall client results.Identify opportunities for account growth and recommend new initiatives, campaigns, or services that can support evolving client objectives.Guide messaging, campaign direction, positioning, and marketing priorities based on each client's growth goals and market context.Lead marketing initiatives from strategic concept through execution while maintaining a strong focus on measurable outcomes and client satisfaction. Requirements 8+ years of marketing experience, ideally within B2B organizations such as technology, healthcare, SaaS, or professional services; experience with consumer brands is a plus.Demonstrated expertise in demand generation and building marketing programs designed to generate leads, strengthen pipeline, and support business growth.Hands-on experience developing and optimizing campaigns across channels such as email marketing, content marketing, paid media, and digital marketing.Proven ability to develop marketing strategies, translate business objectives into actionable plans, and guide campaigns from concept through execution.Experience leading marketing teams, mentoring specialists, coordinating contributors, and reviewing work to ensure strategic consistency and high-quality execution.Strong client-facing and executive communication skills, with the ability to lead strategic discussions, present recommendations, and confidently guide clients through marketing decisions.Excellent marketing judgment, including the ability to evaluate deliverables and provide constructive, strategic feedback to writers, designers, campaign specialists, and other contributors.Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies and prioritize initiatives.Agency experience in a marketing leadership or director-level capacity is strongly preferred.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines simultaneously.Comfortable collaborating through video meetings and working standard business hours of approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, with some flexibility.Must reside in the United States and be eligible for a full-time W-2 position.
