About the role
We are looking for a strategic marketing leader to shape and advance the company’s market presence from Anderson, South Carolina. This role will guide brand direction, strengthen demand generation efforts, and create programs that support revenue growth across multiple customer segments. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into effective campaigns, product messaging, and customer engagement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and lead short- and long-range marketing plans that support business expansion and measurable performance goals.
- Define brand strategy and ensure messaging remains consistent across product portfolios, audiences, and marketing channels.
- Evaluate industry developments, buyer expectations, and competitor activity to uncover opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Advise senior leadership on market positioning, customer outreach, and brand growth initiatives.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including online campaigns, media planning, website performance, and conversion improvement.
- Build demand generation programs that strengthen sales pipelines across government, institutional, and commercial markets.
- Direct go-to-market activities for product launches and develop clear product positioning, value messaging, and supporting materials for customers and sales teams.
- Lead the creation of sales enablement and brand content such as presentations, brochures, case studies, videos, and event materials.
- Manage marketing budgets, external agencies, internal team members, and project timelines while coordinating closely with sales, operations, engineering, and leadership.
- Guide trade show participation, public relations activities, ecommerce growth initiatives, and performance analysis to improve lead generation, engagement, and revenue contribution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic marketing programs that produce measurable business results.
- Background in B2B marketing for technically sophisticated products or solutions.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing practices, campaign analytics, and performance reporting tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project leadership skills.
- Experience supporting sales channels that serve commercial and government customers is preferred.
- Familiarity with ecommerce strategies, agency management, trade show planning, or multimedia content development is a plus.
