About the role

The Director of Marketing is responsible for outward-facing marketing and branding as well as internal marketing and communications for Maverick Power. This role is a key leader in the Commercial Team, and will lead a team responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking external and internal messaging, advertising, branding, brand loyalty, customer facing events, product marketing launches, and related functions.

This role is grounded in the manufacturing and production market, and the Director will also monitor trends and data across other markets to ensure Maverick Power’s marketing approach remains current, competitive, and aligned with industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives and commercial priorities

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team across key functional areas

  • Define KPIs and implement a performance-driven culture grounded in data and accountability

  • Track marketing trends, benchmarks, and data across the manufacturing and production market as well as adjacent industries to ensure Maverick Power’s strategy remains current and competitive

  • Lead corporate brand strategy, ensuring a differentiated and compelling market position

  • Oversee all external communications, including PR, thought leadership, media relations, and executive visibility

  • Elevate the company’s presence in key industry ecosystems (data center, AI infrastructure, cloud, sustainability initiatives)

  • Align internal and external brand messaging to deliver a consistent employee and customer experience that reinforces brand loyalty

  • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, ABM, content, events) to generate pipeline and accelerate revenue

  • Partner with Business Development & Sales to align marketing investments with key accounts, target segments, and growth opportunities

  • Optimize marketing mix and budget allocation to maximize ROI and measurable business impact

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Sales Operations, Industrial Management, Engineering or related field
  • 10–15+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including leadership roles
  • Proven success building and scaling marketing teams and capabilities
  • Demonstrated impact on revenue growth, brand strength, and commercial performance
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
  • Deep expertise across brand, demand generation, digital marketing, and analytics
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align marketing to financial outcomes
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with experience leveraging marketing technology and analytics platforms
  • Experience benchmarking marketing strategies and performance against other industries/markets to inform best practices within manufacturing and production

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters in Business Administration
  • PMP Certification
