Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a visionary leader for the Marketing function, establishing a clear strategy aligned with firmwide growth goals
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Identify emerging markets, client segments, and industry trends to drive growth and expansion
- Build strong, service-oriented relationships with internal stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, Market Leaders, and operational teams, positioning marketing as a trusted partner and resource
- Pursue and market the firm’s brand positioning and messaging across all markets
- Oversee digital strategy, including website, content, and social media, to enhance visibility, engagement, and brand positioning
- Enhance the client experience and journey through strong marketing support and tools
- Pursue insight for go/no-go decisions and strategic planning
- Guide the development of compelling pursuit strategies, win themes, and presentation materials
- Ensure quality, differentiation, consistency, and alignment across qualifications, resumes, and project descriptions
- Develop and continuously improve a centralized library of marketing materials, including resumes, project profiles, and past proposals
- Support key proposals and interviews as needed
- Partner with internal teams and Trilon partner firms to collaboratively develop pursuit strategies and responses for large, complex, and national opportunities
- Champion the use of CRM platforms, marketing automation, and AI-driven tools to enhance quality and efficiency
- Drive innovation in marketing processes, proposal development, and content creation through emerging technologies
- Leverage AI, including large language models (LLMs) and emerging agentic tools, to transform marketing workflows, automate repeatable processes, and accelerate campaign development and optimization
- Lead the collaboration and communication efforts externally
- Partner closely with the ELT and other company leaders while maintaining accountability for marketing strategy and execution
- Promote alignment across teams, offices, and service lines
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably within A/E/C or professional services with annual revenue in excess of $100m
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Strong expertise in branding, digital marketing, and social media strategy
- Expertise in applying AI tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI) to improve marketing workflows, not just content generation
- Demonstrated ability to adopt and operationalize emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment
- Forward-thinking mindset with a passion for AI and marketing innovation
- Exceptional communication, writing, and leadership skills
