Director of Lowcountry Counseling Center

About the role

This position serves as the Director of Lowcountry Counseling Center, overseeing all counseling services and ensuring high-quality care for children and families.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the counseling center
• Develop and implement comprehensive counseling programs
• Collaborate with community partners to expand services
• Mentor and supervise staff counselors
• Conduct regular performance evaluations
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working with children and families
• Valid South Carolina counseling license

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
