Director of Counseling Center

About the role

The Director of Counseling Center oversees the counseling services provided at the center, ensuring that all clients receive the highest quality care. This includes managing a team of counselors, developing and implementing counseling programs, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the counseling center, including scheduling appointments, managing client files, and coordinating with other departments.
• Develop and implement counseling programs tailored to meet the needs of the community.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the field of mental health.
• Manage a team of counselors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Conduct regular assessments of the counseling center’s effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a counseling center or similar setting.
• Proven ability to manage a team and develop effective counseling programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Schedule
