Responsibilities

  • Directs, implements, and oversees the execution and dissemination of loss prevention, safety, and compliance topics.
  • Directly manages District Loss Prevention Supervisors and the Surveillance team, and regularly partners with store operations, distribution, and the Store Support Center.
  • Train the District Loss Prevention Supervisors and Surveillance Team in inventory control, loss prevention, policies, procedures, and compliance.
  • Responsible for assuring compliance with safety, security and receiving guidelines and policies relative to loss prevention.
  • Oversee investigations.
  • Provide direction towards the process of reviewing security video footage.
  • Oversee entire inventory process and results with a primary focus on store inventory issues.
  • Develop an effective partnership with store operations and store support center.
  • Review and approve/deny all shrink prevention bonuses.
  • Analyze trends in shrink, margin and inventory and communicate findings with functional teams.
  • Analyze, prepare, and coordinate the preparation of financial reporting.
  • Lead our associates in a way that exemplifies the leadership principles taught in Thrive and reinforces Thrive skills with managers reporting to you.
  • Travel to locations.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties.
  • Supervise the District Loss Prevention Supervisors and Surveillance Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of multi-unit loss prevention experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Surveillance experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, good listener, and able to work under pressure at a fast pace.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally to all audiences.
  • Good visual acuity.
  • Closed vision for computer work.
  • Repetitive wrist movements on keyboard.
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $128,000 - $175,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
