Essential Functions

  • Ensures all Loss Prevention standards are properly followed.
  • Reviews all reports completed by Loss Prevention officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards.
  • Maintains thorough and complete investigation for all incidents incurred by guests and associates (i.e. losses, thefts, accidents, and acts of violence).
  • Maintains guest room surveillance procedures.
  • Maintains an effective key control program.
  • Safeguards shift personnel are properly assigned at all times.
  • Responsible for payroll, scheduling and other administrative duties.
  • Attends all hotel meetings such as evening stand up, Ops, Safety Committee, Rooms Division, and bi-weekly staff meeting.
  • Briefs on-coming shift officer and the MOD on all Loss Prevention issues prior to leaving property.
  • Function as MOD on weekends.
  • Responds to all fire and medical emergencies.
  • Develops department policies and procedures.
