Director of Land Acquisition - Plano, TX

As the Director of Land Acquisition, your contribution to providing an adequate supply of land is critical…it all starts with the land. You'll have exposure and partner with key senior leaders as you present land deals you believe in. This is the first step in directly driving the Company's growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify acquisition opportunities through contacts with brokers, builders, bankers, landowners, engineers, planners, attorneys, municipal officials, and in-house contacts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of land acquisition experience in progressively responsible positions; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to prepare, interpret and present various financial analyses, as well as statistical market analyses
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Must maintain a valid driver's license
