About the role
Stanley Martin is both a land developer and homebuilder. As a Director of Land Acquisition, your role is to acquire land to build on in each of our division(s) to meet annual business goals. Each day may look different for you with in-office work balanced with time spent in the market maintaining contacts and sourcing new land deals. Your ability to network comes with ease and makes it feel effortless to create new contacts in your market and maintain a network of people to consistently provide leads for new land. You are always looking at your team's performance and strengths to confirm they are high achievers who can manage multiple projects within many jurisdictions. Once a prospective land deal is uncovered, your time will be spent overseeing contracting, due diligence and feasibility studies with the market research team, to ensure the land position is a fit for the company's strategy and business goals.
