You’re patient with non-technical users, enjoy creating workable solutions with imperfect information, and you’re comfortable building IT infrastructure from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute a full migration to Microsoft 365
- Support NetSuite implementation and ensure compatibility with identity and collaboration tools
- Manage networks including Wi-Fi, routers, firewall setup (future), and general connectivity
- Support equipment used in manufacturing and lab environments (tablets, machines, test systems, etc.)
- Establish access control, password standards, device security, and basic cybersecurity practices
- Help select and recommend collaboration tools (Slack/Teams, Confluence, etc.)
- Auxiliary in future evaluation of project management tools as needed
- Maintain legacy systems during transition periods and ensure data continuity
- Implement foundational cybersecurity controls and security awareness processes
- Establish documented IT processes, inventory management, and lifecycle management
- Manage and mentor a Network/Systems admin and a Help Desk Specialist
- Ensure IT strategy and support structure treat macOS and Windows equally within the organization
Requirements
- Must have the ability to hold government clearance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on management of IT Systems Administration or IT Infrastructure experience
- Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365
- Practical experience supporting ISO-controlled environments and SOX IT General Controls (ITGCs)
- Experience creating and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and audit documentation
- Experience managing endpoint security, identity management, and access controls
- Strong networking knowledge including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, Wi-Fi, switching, and routing - Cisco and Palo Alto preferred
- Experience supporting ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
