About the Role

Directs and manages the implementation, support, enhancement, and utilization of data and telecommunication systems utilizing internal, corporate, and vendor resources. Ensures resources are utilized to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Directs the activities and monitors the performance of the Information Technology department. Partners with Corporate Information Technology and Property Senior Management to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives. Prepares and administers the departmental budget and forecasting. Provides guidance in demand management, solution definition, business analysis, project management, and service provider management. Ensures appropriate security and disaster recovery policies and procedures are implemented, maintained, and adhered to. Identifies solutions to advance opportunities, address pain points, or further the business strategy. Coordinates business processes, data integrity audits, and functional training. Provides high-level project and vendor oversight, serving as a liaison between departments and vendors. Supports client relationship management for departmental and property sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and manages the implementation, support, enhancement, and utilization of data and telecommunication systems.
  • Ensures resources are utilized to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitors the performance of IT staff supporting computer operations, operating systems, database administration, desktop/help desk support, telecommunications, data networks, and system security.
  • Partners with Corporate IT and Property Senior Management to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Prepares and administers the departmental budget and forecasting.
  • Provides guidance in demand management, solution definition, business analysis, project management, and service provider management.
  • Ensures security and disaster recovery policies and procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Identifies solutions to advance business opportunities, address pain points, or further business strategy.
  • Coordinates business processes, data integrity audits, and functional training for business systems.
  • Provides high-level project and vendor oversight; serves as liaison between departments and vendors.
  • Supports client relationship management for departmental and property sales teams.
  • Assists in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of software, hardware, and consultants for projects.
  • Analyzes and implements property strategy to drive technology revenue and contribute to overall business success.
  • Manages technology profit and loss, including telecommunications, HSIA, business center technologies, and A/V.
  • Ensures property management budgets CAPEX and operating expenses based on IT projects and support needs.
  • Reviews vendor proposals and selects appropriate vendors for technologies/hardware.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service and encourages the same from other employees.
  • Reviews guest feedback and ensures corrective action is taken.
  • Coordinates and communicates event details to customers and property operations.
  • Responds to and resolves guest problems and complaints.
  • Interviews, selects, and trains employees; conducts performance appraisals.
  • Monitors employee attendance and ensures safety and security of employees and property.
  • Helps direct supervisors to achieve their development goals.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major and 10 years' experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related professional area.
  • OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major and 5 years' experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related professional area.

Pay

$142,000 - $189,000 annually | Bonus Eligible: Yes
