About the role

The Director of Inservice Education plays a crucial role in the leadership team, focusing on equipping employees with the necessary skills to provide high-quality care and operate the facility efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and implement an ongoing program of employee education covering various topics and skills related to resident care and facility operations.
  • Train employees on maintaining standards of care and facility operation.
  • Participate in the on-boarding process for new employees.
  • Maintain training records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure that all required licenses (nurse, QMA, CNA) and certifications (BNA, QMA) are renewed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that necessary BNA and QMA classes are offered and completed according to regulations.

Qualifications

  • A licensed nurse in the State of Indiana with at least one year of experience in a long-term care setting.
  • Possessing at least one year of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred for registered nurses.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Able to work collaboratively with a dedicated team.
  • A leader with qualities that align with the company’s core values of passion, integrity, stewardship, growth, and adaptation.

Additional Information
