The Director of Information Technology is responsible for providing vision, leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight for all information technology systems and services across the Agency. This role ensures the alignment of IT infrastructure with Agency goals while maintaining a secure, efficient, and scalable technology environment.
- Develop and implement the Agencys IT strategy in alignment with business goals
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and data privacy requirements (i.e., HIPAA) and enforce IT governance standards, ensuring data integrity, security, accessibility, and compliance with applicable regulations
- Analyze Agency technology needs and recommend solutions to the President & CEO and Chief Operating Officer (COO)
- Oversee all technology operations, including networks, servers, telecommunications, and hardware
- Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and upgrades of IT systems and infrastructure
- Manage data backup systems and disaster recovery planning
- Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure operational resilience
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive cybersecurity program to protect Agency data, systems, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with department leaders to align technology solutions with program and operational needs
- Maintain regular on-site presence across multiple Agency locations to support operations, assess technology needs, and ensure effective system utilization
- Participate in IT-related budget planning and resource allocation
- Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for IT staff, including mentoring, training, and professional development
- Maintain all program and Agency required trainings.
Qualification Requirements
- Associates degree in information technology or related field is required; bachelors degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 8 10 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, network management, or related roles
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in IT required
- Experience with budgeting and resource planning
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks (LAN/WAN), and security
- Experience with Windows server and desktop operating systems
- Familiarity with cloud systems and services
- Experience with network monitoring, security tools, and backup systems
- Experience developing and executing IT strategy aligned with Agency goals
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors and external IT service providers
- Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Able to work independently and make sound decisions

This is not a remote position. Salary: 110K-130K
