What You’ll Do
- Lead all aspects of the HVAC/R training program across day, afternoon, and evening shifts
- Stay actively involved in instruction—teaching, demonstrating, and stepping in when coverage is needed
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a team of HVAC/R instructors
- Drive student success by engaging with students from orientation through graduation
- Partner with campus leadership to monitor progress, improve outcomes, and prepare students for licensing and careers
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to ensure consistent training across all shifts
- Manage tools, equipment, and departmental budget
- Ensure curriculum aligns with state licensing requirements and industry standards
- Maintain a safe, compliant training environment in line with OSHA and regulatory requirements
- Serve as the go-to leader for resolving student and instructor concerns
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on HVAC/R experience (installation, service, troubleshooting)
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
- Leadership or supervisory experience (in the field or training environment)
- Ability and willingness to stay hands-on in daily instruction
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
- Experience working across multiple shifts or managing schedules (a plus)
- Prior experience in a training or educational environment (a plus)
