About the role

The Director of Human Resources will support the company by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives. They will build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with Executive Management, Directors and Managers and an advocate for employees. They will oversee all the HR professionals within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support the company by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with Executive Management, Directors and Managers and an advocate for employees.
  • Oversees all the HR professionals within the organization.
  • Provides guidance on employment law, coordinates performance management, and resolves employee relations issues.
  • Provides advanced level guidance on human resources policies and procedures such as payroll, benefits, compensation, employee development, and recruiting.
  • Works collaboratively with both the National Service Center and the Clinical Diagnostics HR Teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of professional Human Resources experience required. 3+ years of management required.
  • Work experience requirements: Previous experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner preferred. SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred. Broad knowledge of business operations and impact of HR actions. In-depth knowledge of HR legal and regulatory requirements. Ability to foster team building with mutual respect, Associate development and problem solving abilities. In-depth understanding of budget and fiscal responsibility. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to influence leadership and others outside of span. Ability to partner directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on employee relations issues and/or a variety of personnel matters. Willingness to work outside normal business hours as job dictates. Ability to make independent decisions regarding matters of significance. Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization. Excellent verbal & written communication skills. Keenly attentive to detail. Ability to keep sensitive information confidential. High level of proficiency with PC based software programs, particularly Excel.

  • This laboratory carefully maintains all hazardous materials. All employees must abide by Eurofins DPT’s Safety and Exposure procedures. This includes using the provided safety clothing and equipment.
