Director of Housekeeping
The Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a Housekeeping Director to manage the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments. Key responsibilities include coordinating housekeeping services, maintaining supply levels, providing reports, participating in facility surveys, and inspecting resident rooms.
- Coordinate housekeeping services with other related departments.
- Oversee maintenance of housekeeping supplies to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Provide reports/recommendations to the Administrator as necessary.
- Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies.
- Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties.
Position Requirements
- Knowledgeable of housekeeping practices and procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting.
- Leadership ability and willingness to supervise others.
