About the role
CodePath is expanding its team to scale its impact and reach 100,000 annual enrollments. The Director of Growth will lead the growth strategy, channel mix, and execution across paid, email, and outreach channels. This role will also design in-product growth experiences and community-driven growth loops to drive re-enrollment and referral.
Responsibilities
- Own the PLG product backlog and partner with Product to design and scale community-driven growth loops
- Set the growth channel mix and manage the paid media budget with an ROI-first lens
- Run structured growth experiments and translate results into channel and budget decisions
- Define growth metrics and KPIs, own reporting to the senior leadership team
Requirements
- Directly owned paid, email, and outbound channels and managed a media budget against ROI
- Partnered directly with Product/Eng to scope, ship, and measure in-product mechanics
- Built or scaled referral programs, ambassador networks, or community-led growth loops
- Used AI to scale content production, personalize outreach, or automate growth workflows
- Communicated with multiple audiences, shifted voice and message fluently across students, faculty, institutional partners, and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience in EdTech, higher education, or workforce development
- Familiarity with university partnership cycles, faculty decision-making, or academic champion programs
- Experience owning a re-enrollment or retention metric, not just top-of-funnel acquisition
- Experience creating sophisticated automated campaigns to large, segmented audiences via HubSpot or equivalent, email sequencing, LinkedIn, content-driven nurture
- Experience managing or mentoring a small marketing or growth team
