DIRECTOR OF GROUP LIVING

Western Secure Treatment Unit (WSTU) is a secure post-adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young women (14-21), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender-responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a vocational CTE student work training program, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities.

About the role

The Director of Group Living is a member of the Site Management Team, oversees residential services and living units, and serves as the Program Director in their absence. Primarily responsible for managing all available resources to provide students with the highest level of care and to ensure the Rite of Passage program is implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements. Reports to the Program Director and supervises Unit Managers, Shift Supervisors, and direct-care staff.

• Ensure program implementation aligns with ROP policies and licensing requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Master’s Degree preferred). Substitute degree requirement with experience as long as actively pursuing a related degree.
• Four (4) years of related experience in residential facility management.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (THC not tested for pre-employment), physical, and TB test.
• Able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Pay

$75,000 annually

Schedule

A rotating schedule of 5 days on, 2 days off; days off will vary.
