DIRECTOR OF GROUP LIVING

About the role

As the Director of Group Living (DGL), you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and create an atmosphere supportive of their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Possess a BA/BS in a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
• Substitute degree requirement with experience as long as actively pursuing a related degree.
• Four years of related experience in residential facility management.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a residential setting.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with youth and staff.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and positive skill development.

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the program and the youth served.
