DIRECTOR OF GROUP LIVING

About the role

The Director of Group Living is a member of the Site Management Team, overseeing residential services and living units and serving as the Program Director in his/her absence. Primarily responsible for managing all available resources in a manner that provides the students with the highest level of care and ensuring the Rite of Passage program is implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all available resources to provide the students with the highest level of care
• Ensure the Rite of Passage program is implemented in accordance with ROP policies and procedures and Federal, State, and Local licensing requirements
• Serve as the Program Director in the absence of the Deputy Program Director
• Supervise the Shift Supervisor and direct-care staff

Requirements

• Possess a BA/BS in a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
• Substitute degree requirement with experience as long as actively pursuing a related degree
• Four years of related experience in residential facility management

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facility management
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and positive skill development
• Supportive and therapeutic approach to working with at-risk youth

Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$70,000– Performance Based Compensation reviews are conducted annually (2%,4%, or 6%)
