Job Details

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Managing the treasury function to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced interest costs, and efficient use of excess cash.
• Implementing and managing the company's trust accounting systems and procedures.
• Providing strategic financial leadership and support on potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, investments, and other issues affecting the business.
• Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to finance and accounting.
• Collaborating with the executive management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel.
• Providing strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Utilizing ADP for payroll management and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position
• Proven experience in the legal sector, specifically with law firms and professional services.
• Expertise in trust accounting and treasury management.
• Proficiency in using ADP for payroll management.
• Strong understanding of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to the Accounting and Finance industry.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professional and personal integrity and ethics.
