About the Role
Homeaglow is seeking a Director of Finance to serve as both a strategic partner and operational leader, guiding financial decision-making across a fast-growing marketplace business. In this high-impact role, you'll partner closely with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, strengthen unit economics, optimize resource allocation, and shape the company's financial future. You'll combine sharp analytical thinking with business acumen to answer not only "what happened?" but more importantly, "what should we do next?"
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with leadership to influence growth strategy, pricing decisions, investments, and capital allocation
- Build sophisticated financial models that drive forward-looking business decisions, not just historical reporting
- Lead Finance and Accounting functions while establishing scalable processes and controls
- Own forecasting, planning, cash management, and strategic financial analysis across the organization

Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive finance experience, including meaningful experience in FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, high-growth startups, or similar environments
- Demonstrated success influencing business strategy through data-driven financial analysis
- Strong understanding of unit economics, cohort analysis, contribution margin, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and subscription or marketplace business models
- Experience building financial models that support strategic decision-making and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable business recommendations
- Prior leadership experience managing finance and/or accounting teams
- Highly analytical with the ability to form sound recommendations in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting venture-backed or high-growth technology companies
- Exposure to marketplace, subscription, SaaS, or consumer services business models
- CPA, CFA, MBA, or other advanced financial credentials
