About the role
You will lead the connection between financial strategy and technical execution, serving as the catalyst for AI enablement across the Finance organization and driving the evolution of Shipt’s reporting ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Operationalize a strategic cross-Finance partnership model
- Lead and develop the Financial Reporting and Insights team
- Drive the roadmap for data accessibility and tech stack modernization
- Streamline and evolve financial reporting frameworks
- Consult with cross-functional partners to refine analytical requests
- Establish reporting frameworks for metro-level and customer-level performance
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Finance, Data Strategy, or Business Intelligence
- An undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field (MBA preferred)
- The ability to act as a strategic translator, taking nuanced business and financial requests and simplifying them into actionable requirements for a technical team
- A high degree of curiosity, especially in AI, and business savvy, with a track record of asking the right questions to challenge business logic and ensure reporting reflects the true drivers of the P&L
- Technical self-sufficiency with the ability to work directly in SQL, Excel, and BI platforms to coach the team’s work, validate results against a source of truth, and build financial models
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to summarize complex data into simple, compelling narratives for stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- A proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, effectively bridging the gap and building relationships between technical teams and business-focused partners
- A strong leadership presence with experience managing people and helping a team prioritize high-volume requests in a fast-paced environment

Pay
Pay Range: $125,000 - $168,000
