Director of Finance

Job Description

Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and cash flow management
Support compliance, governance, and cost accounting for government contracts
Manage board reporting, investor reporting, and financial planning activities
Partner with department leaders on budgeting, spend analysis, and strategic initiatives
Build financial systems, processes, and infrastructure to support company growth
Coordinate audits, tax filings, and relationships with external advisors

Requirements

• 10+ years of finance, accounting, or FP&A experience
  
• Defense or government contracting experience required
  
• Experience with FAR/DFARS and DCAA cost accounting standards
  
• Accounting-to-finance career progression required
  
• Experience with board and investor reporting preferred
  
• U.S. Person status required; CPA or MBA a plus

  Pay

  $170K–$200K base + equity + bonus potential

  Schedule

  Full-time position. The role can be remote or Boston-based, with travel to the Austin office as needed.
