Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to maximize profitability and ensure cost control.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing variances and preparing reports for executive management.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Lead the finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with operational departments to optimize revenue streams and improve financial processes.
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making processes with financial insights and analysis.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, ideally in a hotel setting.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
