Job Responsibilities
- Provide support for annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Serve as a strategic partner to the management leadership team.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
- Provide insightful analysis of financial and operational performance through KPIs and dashboards.
- Manage all cost accounting functions, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost allocations across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Oversee inventory accounting processes, valuation, and reconciliation.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and other department heads to align budgets with operational execution and drive efficiency.
- Serve as the Regional finance lead for ERP system enhancements and optimization, especially for manufacturing and finance modules.
- Champion automation to improve finance processes.
- Implement and manage internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations and manage relationships with internal and external auditors.
- Evaluate and provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and other strategic business investments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Regional finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required.
- A professional accounting designation, such as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with significant time spent in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in senior leadership or management role, such as a Plant Controller.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP system implementation and optimization.
- Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing finance principles.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to management stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Pay
Compensation Base Salary: $150,000 - $170,000
Annual Bonus: 20%
