About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of all systems, and providing technical support to faculty and students.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the university’s network infrastructure, including servers, routers, and switches.
• Provide technical support to faculty and students, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience with network administration and server management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and networking technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and incident response.
• Ability to lead and mentor IT staff.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
