We are seeking an accomplished Director of Finance to join our executive leadership team with a clearly defined opportunity to transition into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role within approximately six months, based on demonstrated performance and successful completion of the leadership transition plan.
About the role
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals
- Lead financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
- Oversee budgeting and financial planning processes
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including funders and investors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and policies

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of progressive finance management experience
- Proven track record of successfully leading financial teams
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial information effectively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience in leading financial teams in a nonprofit setting
- Experience with nonprofit financial systems and software
- Experience with nonprofit financial regulations and compliance
