Overview

The Director of Field Operations is responsible for leading field operations for hyperscale and co-location data center projects, working closely with the VP of Construction, Field Teams, and Project Teams to ensure operational excellence, project success, and strategic team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Mission Critical Field Operations
  • Oversee Project Start-Up
  • Own Schedule Development and Management
  • Build, Place, and Mentor Staff
  • Play a Significant Role in Client Engagement
  • Achieve Maximum Profit on Each Project
  • Ensure Robust Cost Control Techniques
  • Train Team Members in Best-In-Class Techniques
  • Assist in Employee Management
  • Review All Estimates and Ensure Proper Project Close-Out
  • Keep Accounts Payable and Receivable Current
  • Assist Project Team in Subcontractor Approval and Monitoring
  • Prepare Monthly Reports for VP of Field Operations
  • Participate in Field Manager/Field Coordinator Meetings
  • Support Field Operation Action Plans
  • Stay Informed on Regional Union Issues
  • Communicate New Developments in the Construction Industry to Team Members

  • Experience in Mission Critical Field Operations
  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills
  • Ability to Manage Schedules and Projects Effectively
  • Excellent Communication and Client Relationship Management Skills
  • Knowledge of Construction Industry Trends and Regulations
  • Proficiency in Computer Programs and "Ryan Tools"
